Booking and Cancellation Policies
Cancellation: You may cancel up to 24 hours in advance of your scheduled ride without penalty. Cancellations the day of will be charged the greater of $50 or half the price of the ride. No-shows and cancellations made less than three hours before the ride will be charged the full amount of the ride.
If you cancel your ride with less than 24 hours notice, you are responsible for the full cost of any concierge services you have booked.
Lateness: We ask that you keep in mind that when you book a ride you are purchasing the time slot. Just as we make every effort to provide you with prompt service, often by refusing fares twenty to thirty minutes prior to your ride, we expect our customers to arrive on time. Furthermore, other customers are affected when you arrive late, therefore we ask that you respect the time slots. If you are running late, please let your driver know at least one hour in advance. Scheduling changes can only be made only when there is no conflict with other scheduled rides. If we are unable to find another suitable time and you arrive late, your ride will still end at its originally scheduled time. Late arrivals that have not notified the driver at least an hour in advance will be charged a prorated $50 per twenty minutes per carriage.
If you have booked a concierge service, you will be charged their prorated hourly rate for lateness.
Weather: We do not operate when the temperature exceeds 89 degrees or falls below 19 degrees. Often, we will cease to operate during snowstorms or when the temperature exceeds 87 degrees. In addition, there are times when police blockades close off certain streets. If we have scheduled a ride and are unable to operate during that time we will work with you to find another time that works. We do not reschedule rides on account of light rain. The carriages are covered and you will stay dry.
Maximum Number of People Per Carriage: We are able to accommodate up to four adults per carriage. Children age twelve and under, including infants, count as half an adult. For instance, we can fit three adults and two children twelve or younger, or one adult and four children twelve or younger. Under no circumstances can we fit more than four adults per carriage.
